Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has sparked reactions on social media with her comments on the viral sex scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF).
The scandal erupted when a series of explicit videos surfaced, showing Engonga engaging in sexual activities with multiple women, including his brother’s wife and the sister of Equatorial Guinea’s President.
Authorities discovered over 400 videos featuring the high-ranking official during an investigation into alleged financial fraud.
Martins shared her thoughts on Instagram, making light of the situation by calling Engonga “every woman’s dream man.” She described him as “skilled, very soft, and very much in charge in bed,” adding that he has “top-notch energy” and is in tune with every woman’s mood.
The actress also claimed that he plays Nigerian music during his encounters, which she referred to as a “spec.”
In her post, Martins speculated that some women may have willingly engaged with Engonga for exploitation, while others were “given to him as a settlement to wipe off their husband’s bad records from the system.”
Despite her playful tone, she expressed relief that no Nigerian women were involved in the scandal. “Jokes aside,” she wrote, “that Equatorial Guinea guy is every woman’s dream man… he’s a full spec, make we no lie.”
The scandal has prompted a serious response from Equatorial Guinea’s leadership. Vice-President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue publicly addressed the situation, stating that sexual activities in administrative workplaces are strictly banned.
He warned that anyone caught engaging in such behavior would face suspension, emphasizing that “ministries are solely and exclusively for carrying out administrative work in support of the country’s development.”
The leaked videos have caused outrage and disciplinary warnings from the nation’s leadership. The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the videos and Engonga’s conduct.
If found guilty of exposing others to sexually transmitted diseases, he could face prosecution for an offense against public health.
As this scandal unfolds, it raises critical questions about accountability and ethics within Equatorial Guinea’s government.
The public outcry continues as more details emerge about Engonga’s actions and their implications for the country’s leadership.
